Product Overview
Wild Common Tequila Añejo
Small-Batch Añejo Tequila | 47% ABV | 94 Proof | 750mL | 100% Blue Weber Agave
Wild Common Tequila Añejo is a bold, sophisticated expression of traditionally crafted tequila, produced at the historic Tequila Cascahuín distillery in El Arenal, Jalisco. Crafted under the guidance of Master Distiller Salvador “Chava” Rosales Trejo, this small-batch Añejo showcases the depth and richness that can develop when carefully cooked agave meets thoughtful barrel maturation.
The agave is roasted for 72 hours in traditional brick ovens, then extracted using a combination of stone tahona and roller mill. Natural fermentation with agave fibers is followed by double distillation in small stainless steel and copper pot stills. The tequila is then matured for approximately 12 months in ex-bourbon barrels, allowing the cooked-agave character to remain at the forefront while adding layers of oak, spice, sweetness, and dried fruit.
Bottled at an impressive 47% ABV (94 proof), Wild Common Añejo delivers a rich, viscous texture and remarkable concentration. Its balance of cooked agave, honey, golden raisins, candied ginger, cinnamon, and warm spice makes it an exceptional sipping tequila for enthusiasts looking for a more expressive and traditionally crafted Añejo.
