Part of Kaiyo’s Wood Library Series, The Ramu is crafted from 100% malted barley and matured for six years in Mizunara oak before spending an additional two years in Rhum J.M agricole casks from Martinique.

This unique dual maturation creates an expressive balance of Japanese oak character and tropical richness. Mizunara contributes elegant sandalwood, aromatic spice, vanilla, and subtle coconut notes, while the rum-cask finish adds layers of tropical fruit, caramel, honey, and dried fruit. Bottled at 46% ABV and non-chill filtered, The Ramu delivers a rich and silky whisky with remarkable depth and complexity.
