What we do know is that this a powerfully smoky and spicy dram, emphasised by use of maturation in virigin oak casks. This 12-year-old Islay dram has been bottled at an eye-watering 57.3% abv!
Nose: dry peat, charcoal, spice, sweetness.
Palate: oily, minerality, lemon.
Finish: intense smokiness, spice.
