Ilegal is from Oaxaca (pronounced: wah-ha-kah), Mexico and made with sustainable espadín (pronounced: es-pa-deen) agave by 4th generation mezcelaros. Ilegal is made “Sin Prisa” which is a common expression in Oaxaca meaning without rush or hurry – done slowly & carefully. We are committed to growing jobs, wages and improving the lives of the people we partner with. We participate and donate to various charities in Guatemala, Oaxaca and all across the US.
