Product Overview
Carpineto Dogajolo (2018) is a robust Italian rosé made with Sangiovese and Canaiolo wine grapes. Vines are dry-farmed, which adds complexity and concentrated flavours to the wine. Lots of wild strawberries and red berries on this zesty acidity, medium-body rosé. The wine is dry and crisp and pairs well with grilled seafood and veal. The name Dogajolo comes from the Italian word doga that means "stave": the narrow pieces of wood used in the creation of oak casks.
