The blend combines two proprietary bourbon recipes, with 90% consisting of a high-rye bourbon and the remaining 10% made from a moderate-rye bourbon. The high-rye portion receives an additional nine to twelve months of maturation in new charred oak barrels, using different char levels to develop richer sweetness, deeper oak character, and added complexity. The resulting bourbon is bottled at 104 proof, delivering a bold yet balanced profile.
